When the sun is shining but the wind is cool and everyone wants lunch; where do we go?
We decided on Coogee, to the nice little pub bistro Five O facing the beach. The pub is located on the 2nd level and we managed to find a table overlooking the beach on the balcony and it is a non-smoking balcony so it suited us great.
The view from our balcony seating.
The group photo.
The many attempts to take me and Charlene with the view of Coogee Beach behind us yielded the best result from Rebecca's camera.
And Rebecca's artistic impression of me on her camera.
My lunch. Lovingly grilled salmon on a bed of boiled bak choy & baby potatoes. My lunch mates made fun of my bak choy cos it really feels like an ill company for a good piece of salmon but they tasted quite crunchy and not overdone, so it's good.
I should have squeezed the mustard string after the photo but too late, I have done it. Candice thought it was a long piece of spaghetti from afar. Haha. Surprisingly the mustard went very well with the salmon. It was a satisfying lunch indeed.
Looking so forward to the weekend!
