The ever-impatient me is going to break the chronological order of my family trip to blog about our cell group 1st ever outing in 2009. The attendance is not as many as I had expected but it turned out to be a good thing. It was a small cosy affair where we easily throw jokes at each other and fellowship as old friends.
We headed to Ernest and I's fav restaurant (alright...one of the many many) where they still have that half price mussel pots. Today I learnt that they serve 1kg of mussels per order. Gosh, I didn't realise we drowned down 1kg of mussels each everytime we come!
Check out the happy photos. I ordered the Tintin Au Congo flavoured mussel pot with a small pint of Stella Atois.
After the delicious and filling dinner, we went to another of Ernest & I's haunt: The French Riveria and initiated Rena into the World Better than Swensen's.
We observed that The French Riveria has taken tour groups to cater to group meals. I see groups and groups of MLC swarming into the ice cream palour and exclaiming very loudly how tall the ice-creams were piled on top of each other.
See my expert photography. I asked Sidney and Chloe to pretend so that I can show you guys how big a group they were.
Thanks Michelle & Lisa for sharing the funny jokes cos I recycled them at the ice cream palour and got everybody laughing and in stitches in no time.
Thank you everyone who came and for all those who missed out this time round must come for the next cell group outing cos it will definitely be awesome.
