Day Four in Taipei
After 2 days of raining, I would love for a bit of sun. And God was indeed good. We had a beautiful weather on Day 4 of our trip and we went to a couple of places today. In the morning to we to visit Taipei 101, the pride and joy of the Taiwanese people. The once tallest building in the world is now replaced by some Dubai tower, but up close and personal, Taipei 101 is still as majestic and as beautiful to me. The shape of the building resembled the grooves of a strong bamboo stem.
The clouds & coins designs were very Oriental and I love it.
We went to Wufenpu in the afternoon. We were told that the best place to shop is Wufenpu cos the clothes distributors gathers there and the clothes will be cheap cheap cheap. Hai....actually it is a waste of time for me esp. Even though the clothes are beautifully designed and ok lah, some are cheap, but the sizes are all in Asian M size and I can't buy anything much there at all. There were some shopkeepers who deadpanned,' I have nothing for you' when I ask them if they have a bigger size for some of the dresses on display. Sianz. Who says Asians are discriminated? We Asians discriminates the most.
