TGIF! Chun,Yue, Jac and I decide to unwind by indulging in some karaoke. Ernest just tag along to help us cam-whore.
The karaoke place is Greenbox Plus, very much similar to our K-Box. It is located at some non-descript office building on the second floor. There was no signage at the ground floor and we had to second-guess our way up. When the lift opened at the 2nd floor, we were greeted by Chinese pop music and a bunch of Chinese youngsters welcoming us. It felt so Taiwanese; as if I went from Australia into Taiwan the moment the lift door opened.

No time to lose! Let's sing!

Lalalalala........

Funny poses
After the 2 hours Happy Hour lung blasting session, we were cold and hungry. Yue suggested Ma La Huo Guo and we did not hesitate to say yes.

Steamboat Place

Me outside the restaurant. The look of the fire in the logo already can hint the level of 'hotness' of the steamboat. I still prefer the steamboat that Ernest and I enjoyed during our Brisbane days, but that place closed down, much to our dismay.

Can't wait to start!!!!! We had the yuen-yang soup of ma la and chicken. Shiok! We even had pig's blood. Yummy!

Come follow us into our gastronomical adventure!

Special concocted chilli sauce. No horse run!

Yue challenging Chun to try the ma la soup.

Chun's reaction tells us all what to expect.

Ernest living it up in Sydney.

Beware of heatting!!
After the heavy dinner, we decided to go to Mrs Macquaire's Chair to walk off the steamboat. The view from that vintage point is priceless. We can see BOTH the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge from here. Jacqueline, being the new kid on the block, went ballistically happy and went to take the usual touristy pictures in the harsh night wind (I didn't say breeze because the wind was too strong and cold!).

It was quite hard taking pictures at night unless you have a super duper camera with flash and a tripod. Even with Ernest's Nikon, the pictures turned out to be slightly blurry and less than satisfactory.
Finally we found a dustbin and propped the camera there for the best picture we could managed with our limited resources.
