Ramekins

I ate creme caramel once, then fell into dreaming creme caramel, missing creme caramel, seeing creme caramel everywhere for weeks.

I 'suffered' so much, that I was seeing creme caramel even though I was looking at my Hong Ha pork roll lunch.

I had to somehow have some creme caramel soon, or else I will go mad, I am so sure.

So the first chance I got to go wild in the supermarket (read: shop for myself, not for the office), I was spoilt for choice at the DIY creme caramel shelf. Hmm, should I get the cheap one or the more expensive version. Better choose the tried and tested brand White Wings creme caramel box.

I was queuing up at the cashier's when I remembered 'Hang on.....I dun have anything to put the creme caramel in!' My heart just fell flat and was about to put the box of DIY creme caramel back on the shelf with a suffering look on my face when I saw these set of colourful remekins.

I cheered up immediately and told myself this set of colourful ramekins will be the best impulse buy yet, if I dun get any post-purchase dissonance about the creme caramel after I paid for my groceries.

I spent a good part of the night tonight making the creme caramel, dousing the entire apartment in vanilla & caramelly aromas.

This time tomorrow, I will get to finally eat creme caramel made by moi. Happy is me.
