Rain, rain go away!

It has been raining for several days now. The days usually started out fine and sunny. Cool-ish in the mornings with a bit of nip, warming up as noon approaches. But the happy hour usually does not last very long with gloomy clouds gathering every afternoon. Just the past week, we counted several rainbows making appearances. Not because rain is over, but to signify the coming rain.

The news that Australia now has confirmed 167 cases of swine flu victims add to the gloom. I have flu too now, but I have been declared by the good Italian doctor of Croydon Medical Centre that I am swine flu-free, so dun run away from me ok? Still friends right?

Jetstar has cancelled alot of flights to Japan because of this swine flu scare and Qantas has also grounded some crew who had swine-flu quarantine orders.
