A Blur
These few days has gone by in a blur. All I remembered doing is eat, walk, eat, walk, drink, walk, eat.
You guys should not be surprised if I come back to Sydney looking prosperous.
I try to recap.
Tuesday - JB Day
At Zhulin eating Paper-baked chicken, otah-egg, wild boar meat & sambal kangkong
Our guilin-gaos
we went massage. Our Chinese masseuses are so strong that we were sore for 2 whole days after that.
Kim Gary for lunch. I have always loved their French toast with lotsa peanut butter & honey.
Selamat Datang Ke JB!
House of Sudanese Food for dinner
Our bargains at FOS City Square
Wednesday - Fish Spa!
At Speaker's Corner...tried to talk but scared of the police.
Maxwell for brekkie
Waraku at Central for lunch
Look at the spread of food. The restaurant smelled like a Japanese restaurant with its mirin & soyu floating around us. But the staff were all locals, Malaysians & Chinese.
Paper Nabe hotpot. Ernest keep cracking lame nabe jokes.
Fish Spa at Qianhu, Jalan Lerkas CCK
Very important, wash your feet first
Poor Ernest. His very first time to be eaten by fish.
Dot & I
Bigger fish, bigger sensation. Indeed. I thought I have died and gone to heaven with so many big fish sucking on my legs & feet. I never had men grovel me that way.
At night, me and Ernest met up with our ex-cell grp friends at Shokudo at Raffles City. Shokudo is like a Marche type restaurant, but serving entirely of Japanese cuisine.
Unfortunately, there is something wrong with the camera and that was the last picture I have managed to d/l from the camera. I could not show you the feast (again) we have enjoyed with Alison, Nicole, Cat, WeiYi, Steven, Cherie & Tracie.
But we did have a great time and I could not believe I know someone whom Steven know as well in Australia. What a small world. Steven: if you are reading this, put in a good word for me ok? The photos are gone, but perhaps Alison might have one. hehe.
Thursday - Unilever day
Likewise for Thursday, all the photos are gone too. But we did have a fulfulling day as well today.
Ernest bought a mediagate from some online guy and we met at City Hall interchange to settle the deal. It was all very mysterious and I can see that no one was hurt in the sale process.
Then we met Dennis and Liew Ma who were Ernest's ex-colleagues at Unilever. We had laksa at Toast Box (yummy) and dim sum at Red Star Restaurant at Chin Swee Road. It was very delicious.
Then we went to visit Pearl at Bras Brasah to make some glasses for Ernest. He chose an Oakley and I thought it was a very nice design. Will post pictures when it is done.
Then at night, we had dinner with another of my ex-cell group of friends and it was a very good time of catching up with Alison 2, Joey & Yunjie. I knew too many Alisons!!
We had some local Singaporean fare at Liang Seah Street (aka steamboat street) and had very nice HK dessert at Ah Chew's.
Very full leh. But sad too, cos my pics are gone. Cannot replace at all ok?!
