Towards zero productivity

I think it is a tradition or sorts, that the birthday person gets flowers and surprise cake in my office. Look at my 'party' today.

My pressies from colleagues. From top left: Accounts team with their flowers (I love the tiny lady bug & the fake butterflies), birthday mocha & birthday muffin from Dan & Lindt chocs from Romy.

After lunch, I was 'surprised' by a cake (I have been the organiser for each of my colleague's surprise cakes, so I know the drill. Buy the cake, hide it. Spring it on the star and sing the BD song with gutso as no one will sing it anyway) and was really happy that the 'party' turnout was great. I even was graced with the presence of Management (IT & Mayo) cos they are usually really busy.

Here are the pic of my cake:

After the usual cake cutting, serving the slices and some small talk, I became the superstar of the day. Individual shots from left: Cindy, Candice, Monkeycrab & our newest FOB Rebecca.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.

Thanks Izzy for taking the photos:

Also a special shoutout to all the SMS-es I received: Spollie, Dot, Pearl, the Hon JS and the countless emails I received from the entire Rex staff in Baxter Road.

I feel so loved!
