Summer Farewell Nila & Raymond

Last Thursday we has dinner together to farewell Nila and Raymond who are going back to China and Singapore respectively for summer holidays. It reminded me so much of my studies time too, when I have to cram everything into a 30kg limit to bring presents back to Singapore to give away at Christmas.

The steamboat at Hero Tan, as always was good. But we were so hungry, that we did not take any pictures of the dinner. We were so focused on the food and willing the steamboat to boil the delicious nuggets of food so that we can tuck in.

At Max Brenner, waiting for others to buy their drinks. Raymond had the 'Dome' and Ernest had the old-fashioned milk shake. From left: Raymond, Ohk, Nila and Ernest

Jake and Cat. Our newest couple on the block.

We took this pic with the bay behind the photographer and it shows a good field behind. Ernest was already thinking of jio-ing church boys to come and play football ala Beckham style. Raymond was worried the ball will end up in the water. In the pic: Athing is in the middle

And after dinner, the whole troop went down to Max Brenner at Double Bay and because it was nearing 10pm, they have stopped serving at the tables, so we took away our drinks and walked a short distance to the Double Bay (the bay itself! I have never been there and it looks beautiful at night. I reckon it will look as breathtaking as it is in the day time.)

What a beautiful sight! I mean the bay, not the couple. Hehehe
Steven and Raymond. Steven has been tasked to organise the moonlight cinema trip which is happening soon. Can't wait! I heard u are suppose to pinic overnight and the cinema will start at the break of dawn.

We joked around, took lots of silly pictures and tried persuading Athing to dance her famous Britney Spears dance, alas to no avail. She does not want to display her skills infront of us.

Silly Pics

It was such a good fellowship time and I will miss Nila and Raymond when they go back. Come back soon!!!
