Painful

My colleague 'I swear by my god Allah'-Jac was nice enough to takeaway lunch for me today. I was actually craving for something heavy and since she was at Zia Pina, I thought to ask her to tah-bao spaghetti bolognaise.
Check this out.

It might look I am almost finishing out of sheer deliciousness, but NO........it is an absolute disgrace of a spaghetti bolognaise. The sauce is thin, the tomato paste is sour, the beef mince is pitiful. And it cost a shocking $8. AUD$ 8. For that, I could have a nice big bowl of yong tau foo, a carrot cake and a soya bean drink. And I had to force myself to finish the poor example of the great Italian delicacy if not for the fact that I have paid good money for it and Jac had, bless her kind soul, walked the spag back from the shop and to level 3 where our office is and then brought it down to level 1 where I am banished for an hour everyday sitting in for the receptionist who is blonder in the head than my grandmother.

Heck, if this is the standard of the Italian restaurants cooking such a dish, my husband should be opening Tetsuya-grade Italian restaurants in Sydney.

What a horror.
