Dear Santa

I never realise until now it is so convienient to contact you! In the past, we had to write letters and post them to Christmasland. Because we were kids, we never thought to put in enough stamps and the post office aunties and uncles will just snicker and laugh at our amatuerish envelopes and tossed them aside. No wonder I never got what I wanted for Christmas although I have been a very good girl for the past year.

Now we can blog about you. send emails to you and even have TV documentaries about you in Christmasland so that we knowwhere you live and see how big your house is. We can even whisper our wishes to our loved ones and voila, for sure we will get the presents! So convienient!

I especially want to thank you this year for the early Christmas present in my stocking in the shape of my husband. Can you believe it? He handed me a Harvey Norman bag and inside was the uber-cool red colour thumb drive from Verbatim (branded somemore!) which comes in 512mb Memory. Ooh-ho! Now I can finally claim I am a step towards embracing technology as I dun really own much technie stuff that guys like so much.

My Christmas pressie!

I even got a Christmas kiss and a hug too from Ernest. Thank you Santa for bringing Christmas to me early this year. I wonder how you get in contact with Ernest in the first place. Did you tell him to pass me the present in his sleep?

Anyway, although I thank you for the Christmas present, my list for presents is far from finished. Inspired by lots of friends around me who did the same thing, I shall list henceforth my wishlist so that you may take note and send to me. No need to be during Christmas, I reckon a regular present from time to time during the new year will suit me just fine.

This is in no priority order:

1) Digital Camera
Being a technie-idiot, I dun know which camera or brand is good. But I know what kind I want. I want one that is feminine (read: small and nice-looking) and easy to use (read: idiot-proof). Ernest recommended Canon Ixus so I will put a picture here for Santa's reference. But dun ask me what model number I am after, I dunno.

2) Gucci handbag
I am in the phase of life where girls my age can afford to buy their own Guccis to show off on the streets or at a cafe. Korean girls in my church CONSTANTLY carried their Guccis and LVs as though they are Espirits (they throw the bags on the seats like a bag of potatoes. Sacrilege!) which make me froth inside with envy juice, but because of practical reasons, somehow these indulgences are always far from my grips (pun intended).

But I dun mind one or two ok, Santa?

3) Jimmy Choos

Ah...the god of shoes for women. No one truly know why this guy manages to be on every girls' mind just because he designs shoes for girls. But if you have Jimmy Choos, you reached. Where? You reached. You have Jimmy Choos.

4) Black Berry

Hehe, this is purely asthetic. I know I am not going to fully utilise this gadget baby which is on my company IT dept boys' lips for months. I know if I have one, people will gush all over me salivating over the mini machine and I can have my Bible everywhere I go cos it will be downloaded inside for sure. Maybe I can also have Foxtel in there so that I can watch Comedy Central everywhere I go.

5) Holiday in UK, Japan and US and the rest of the world

I will never get the see-the-world bug out of my system, Santa. So I am putting this in my wishlist too. Never mind I cannot travel for free as an air-stewardess (I know I am too fat to be one), but if I can at least see the world once over at a leisurely pace, I can die a happy woman.

I got this feeling that I can go on and on and on about my wishlist so I think I shall stop here, lest Santa you think I am a greedy little pig (which co-incidently, is what I got for my company Secret Santa Christmas present. My Secret Santa gave me a little cute piggy-bank. Yeah, I get the hint alright.)

Thank you once again Santa and I hope to receive presents from you regularly. I try to be a good girl everyday.

Merry Christmas!

Regards
Eliss
