It's Easter and Ryce is here from Melbourne. Poor girl, waiting for me at home whilst I work the last 2 days before the long Easter break, she took full advantage of her free time to sleep, watch senseless Japanese serials and Canton serials and sleep some more.
Here's what we did during Easter. Warning: Lotsa food pics. Leave now if you cannot stomach us enjoying ourselves. Come on, it's Easter.

Simple food for her on her first big night out. Fried rice with salted fish and chicken. 'Heavenly', she declared

Mine was a simple but delicious dish of beef in hor fun sauce and rice

Dessert place. Dessert to die for! We decide to takeaway home cos we were too full from the fried rice and the beef hor rice.
14 March 2006 - First day of Easter. The day that Jesus died on the cross for all of us. What did we do? Yue, Chun and Lynn went on a road trip to Melbourne. Look at the handsome men all hyped up to go.

Of course, I have got to bring Ryce to yum cha! Sydney cuisine. Haha.

Remember how when we were young, we will try all ways and means to make our fingers do the 'ET' sign? I found out Ryce cannot do it at all! Haha!

Buahahaha!
That night, I absolutely have to bring her to the uber cool Japanese restaurant that I was raving about a few blog posts back. Here we are!

Calpis drink. Mai!

We ordered to this solid looking nabe stock pot of soup and we had to do the cooking ourselves. Not that we minded. We has such lovely time cooking and eating.

15 Apr 2006 - Jesus is dead for the second day. And me and Ryce woke up early, drove to Bondi Beach to catch the morning sea breeze and had a hearty breakfast.

Bondi Beach looks really good early in the morning, The sea is blue, and the beach isn't crowded.

Pretty women, strutting down Bondi Beach boulevard
Our breakfast is unbelieveably cheap and tasty. My saliva still runs whenever I see the pictures.

Lunch time in the city. I brought Ryce to where my boss like to eat when he is in town. We had lobster fried mee with ginger and spring-onions

Dinner at this peseudo Balinese restaurant, Jimbaran. They even had sandalwood incense burning everywhere to replicate Bali, which I felt was a very good touch because when I immediately I stepped in, I was reminded of the times I was in Bali with Ernest. Awww, I miss Ernest too much.

Note: the white round things in my teh botol is ice. And I thought, 'So nice? I got lychee with my teh botol?' Cheh

Easter Sunday! - Jesus rose from the dead this day and all rejoices! After servce, I brought Ryce to Newtown and had this yummy Indian food, Tamana's

The whole afternoon is spent in Newtown where we had an enjoyable time window shopping and really shopping in these electic shops where local designers eat and sleep in and producing their beautiful work. I bought a pair of hand-made (I nearly typed in man-made, haha) boots and I will show u guys next time.
We rushed to The Rocks to catch a bit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and went to Darling Harbour for our dinner.

Of course, I could only bring Ryce to Nick's Seafood. My fav place to eat seafood with an atas atmosphere at the Darling Harbour.

My char-grilled baby octopus was a tad too char grilled. Chau tar.....:(
