I dun understand the fascination with hair nowadays. My mum nagged at me to get a haircut and many people around me were talking about new hairstyles, on the head or otherwise. It sorta prompted me to do the inevitable. I went with D to do a trim on my hair on Sunday. Note that I said trim. I told the hairdresser I wanted to trim my hair. He asked how I want it done. I told him please excercise your freedom. Make me a beautiful woman. Now, that was a wrong command. He then proceeded to show me a picture of a kawaii Japanese woman with a short hairstyle, pointed at it excitedly and attacked my hair with gusto.

When he finished, I ended up with tons of my hair on the floor and short filmsy hairstyle that I could not quite accept because I had long hair for like 2 years. I cringed inwardly. But my hairdresser did the miracle work again which assured me why I am going back to him for the second time. He painstakingly blew my hair and tamed it into a style that is both modern and chic. I loved it. It makes me look fresher.

But by Monday, I hate my hair again. I dun have the wonderful hairdryer with me and I lack the expertise my hairdresser exert on my hair. My hair looked lank and pitifully short. Boo hoo........
