Today marks something significant. I am finally working! Part time only actually, and at miserly 6 bucks per hour. This is like child labour. Unfair and pitiful. I am actually being abused being paid this way. I have been working at Union since last year, part time as well and at the pittance of 5 bucks per hour. When I go back today, I half-expected $6.50, but no sirree, it has to be $6 only. Ok, I will work, because I like the place, and nothing else!
It turns out to be surprisingly a breeze. Monday is a bit slow and with the aftermath of Valentine's Day the weekend before, everybody should be tightening their money bags. There were no tables for lunch today, so I spent half the time standing downstairs observing the lunch crowd and half the time getting to know the co-workers again.
It is only 3 hours, but I pretty much enjoyed the work today. Had lunch with my co-workers today and had a ball of a time telling each other how fat we have become. Haha.
