This is 23rd of Jan's post. I have been so busy packing the night before. I guess this is no surprise, my luggage are grossly overweight. I ended up sending like 25kg myself via TNT. My luggage that I am bringing back with me are so heavy that I don't think I have the strength to carry them like for 10 seconds altogether. Weighted, and I am satisfied that they can be checked in without penalty. This is crazy....finally finished by 3 am.
When I finally lie on the bed with Ernest beside me, I have no idea if it is exhaustion or just sheer adrenaline, my tears suddenly flow down my cheeks in torrent. I don't understand why I am crying. Ernest wiped away my tears and ask what's wrong. I have no idea really, so I just told him my eyes are sweating cos it's too hot. I guess I am going to so miss him when I am back in Singapore. I guess I am also crying because I am going to miss Brisbane too.
When the morning dawn, we hugged firecely and off I went in a cab with Sok Yi. We will be on the same plane together from Brisbane to Brunei and then we will be seperated. She to KL, me to Singapore. The check-in counter staff was so nice. She let me check in 2 luggages when I thought she would allow 1 and with no extra charges! She is SO nice.
The flight is not bad, but we have to endure a 2 minute prayer to Allah for a safe journey. Ha ha, not that I am a cynic, but this case I do hope Allah will bless the plane to arrive safely in Singapore. *Snigger* The food was ok, but the food on the plane bound for Singapore sucks. I asked for fish, and the air steward gave me chicken. I have serious reservations that the air steward do not understand English. What to do? He is a Malay.
