Today someone said I slimmed down. I had to count to 10 mentally, calm myself down and try not to leap in the air 'Haidyoken!' style; instead smiled and returned the compliment with a thanks.

Hmm, I wondered if it is because of my would-like-to-be-more-frequent morning walks around Centennial Park with Ernest. This daily (I wish!)morning walk exercise was brought about my vain attempt to make ourselves fitter in preparation for our SFO trip later this year.

I was reminded time and time again every year when we went overseas for vacation, we had to 'torture' ourselves walking everywhere in our unfit bodies, frightfully untrained legs and feet and ill-fitting shoes. I guess we could blame our working lifestyle of sitting at our desks 8 hours a day; but this year, we want to be at least ready for at least 5 to 8 hours walking fitness every day and bring fashionable comfy shoes to US.

At first, it was a walk to the park adjacent to Alison Road a block away from our home. It turned out to be a nice little greenery patch with the Kensington Pond. Then we ventured further and started exploring Centennial Park. Soon, we decided we could not leave Emi out of the fun and we started carrying Emi in the park with us.

You will be very surprised that this little minx actually gave us quite a workout! She is a hefty 4 to 5 kg now and carrying her for half an hour in the park does wonders to your arms.

I leave you with the question of the day from Eliss's random box of nothing-ness: If you are a fruit, what will you be?

I will be sweet persimmon; soley because I <3 the fruit and its vibrant orangey-red colour.^^
