I have a sneaking suspicion that the mysterious fuel cycle which indicates Tuesdays as the cheapest fuel day has now been shifted to Wednesday. I took advantage of cheap Tuesday yesterday and pumped at $1.09 and I thought I got a steal.
Then to my amazement, today's fuel price is $1.07. What the?!
Sydney driver friends, do let me know your observations.
Another oily & dodgy observation is, I do not believe how Singapore travel agencies operate sometimes. Gone were the days where you were given fixed flight timings for your tour package and you could just sit back, relax and enjoy the tour which you have paid good money for.
After my dearest best friend's horrific attempt to do me a favour today and book my family a tour package to Taiwan at Hong Thai and was threatened and coerced into signing away all the rights if the flight is cancelled and we as consumers do not get any concession or choice to change travel dates/flights, I have lost all (if I had any before) faith on travel agents. What is the point of promising the world thru phone enquries and become downright rude when we hand in the payment?
Even I, working in an airline do not treat my customers like that. No wonder many airlines do not have much patience for travel agents.
Oily & dodgy indeed. If it is not for my family, I will....I will....actually I dunno what I will do. Coming from the same industry, once you signed on the dotted line and hand over your money, there will be a 0.00001% chance you might see your money again if you are dissatisfied in anyway.
We do apologise for your inconvenience, sir, mdm, but according to our company policy, we are not able to accede to your request for refund in order to be fair to all other customers.
We thank you for your business and hope to see you again soon.
Sianz...
