Til death do us part
This weekend flew by so fast. PJ had his wedding on Sat and he has engaged me and Sharon to help to organise the ceremony as well as the reception. It was a real challenge considering we only have 3 weeks to plan and execute EVERYTHING.
The good side is, I found out Sharon and I had this amazing partnership in organising this sort of event. We work as a dream team.
Down side is, we were so busy that I neglected to take photos myself of the wedding.
I had one lousy one which I hope you guys can hold on to until some nice ones become available.
I especially like how we manage to transform the entire church into a huge rose garden under the budget of $1000 for the wedding reception.
PJ and Rachel tied the knot in an amazing outdoor ceremony at Centennial Park in the Rose Garden. The gloomy rain was threatening to nix the entire ceremony when the sun suddenly came out for an hour just for the ceremony. Amidst the strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March, PJ & Rachel said,'I do' to each other and were blessed by Pastor Kong. I tell ya, tears came to my eyes even though it should be cliche to me now, having planned so many weddings for friends.
The reception was at the church so we 'brought' the garden into the church and of course I can only post the pictures when they are available.
Til then,
Your tired and frazzled wedding planner.
