It has been a pretty busy for the eve and the Christmas Day itself. We had a cosy little dinner with Jac, Rebecca and Jac's friend Joyce who is visiting from Singapore. We love guests from Singapore and of course the friend had to do all the hard work lah. She carved the turkey, which Ernest marinated and I popped into the oven and the ham. You can tell this dinner is a team effort of sorts.

The girls are working hard in the kitchen.
The spread!

We forgot to take the picture of the delicious apple crumble that Jac & Joyce bought. It was the apple & wild berry one and I am still salivating over the thought of the cruchy crust and buttery flavour.
We had a lot of group photos and talked alot of nonsense. Joyce does a great Malaysian & Indian accents and we laughed over nothing most of the time. Jokes flowed and we chatted easily over girly stuff. Thanks Ernest for being a sport.
We played wii after dinner and all the girls were hyped up for the Mario Olympic Sports game. They did track & field, gymnastics, long jump, high jump, shooting, archer, among the many sports. It was great fun and we took lots of video. I am sure some one will post the video up soon.

Merry Christmas eve!
On the actual day yesterday, we spent the day in Homebush Bicentennial Park. We had a church BBQ and it was fun and hot at the same time. I am glad Darae brought her dog Mong-e and Justine brought his dog Sugar. The dogs barked at each other at first, but after sniffing at each other for a while, they became fast friends. But after that, Sugar suddenly developed lust for Mong-e and wanted to hump her. We kept them apart after that.

Sugar on the tree. Who put him there???

A relaxing day out.

We had gift exchange and I am glad someone enjoyed our gifts of iron & portable fan.
Useful gifts right?

Nathan's mum got our fan.

Fran has got the iron! She said she already got one. But she will make Joel iron. Haha.

The gifts pile.

Look at what Ernest has got! A book! I guess he will not be enjoying his gift, but me....
hehehe

Another wrong combo...a guy who got the apron.
OK, time for food! Look at the Korean BBQ. It was delicious.

Then I spent some time playing with Sugar.

Then we ended the day with a group shot. Damn Ernest is a good photographer.
