Drama-free?

You remember on my last post that I hope this week will be drama-free.
How wrong I was!

Monday, I was caught in the office lift and was stuck in there for almost an hour.
The lift just jerked roughly a few times and stopped in between Level 2 and Level 1.
Luckily there was reception in the lift and I called Irwin to tell him I am stuck.

I felt like a weird peepshow when Ben forced the lift door opened a crack and the inner lift doors opened by itself. Isobel came and chat with me to make sure I dun faint or panic. People walked past and had a chat. Wow, if I could charge for every person, I might be rich by the end of my ordeal.

Thank God the lift itself did not breakdown and I had the lights and the fan was still on. After the technician came, he made the lift move down to the 1st floor and I came out of the lift, shaking and holding on to Isobel.

Ernest told me about a guy who got stuck in the lift for 41 hours and I want to share his ordeal with you.
Like him, I sat on the floor, cleared receipts out of my purse and paced the lift. But to be stuck in there for 41 hours??? Wow, lucky he is still alive.

There is even a newspaper article about Mr White and his ordeal as well.

The youtube of the security camera in the lift:

Here are some saucy pics.

Me in the lift. Sian man!

As you can see, the lift was stuck below the line where the 2 outer doors were.
I was in between Level 2 & Level 1.

The outer doors were stuck.

There is a door wedge at the bottom of the outer doors where Ben has tried to pry open the outer doors and could only open a little bit and Isobel has kept the door wedged open to make sure she has me in her vision.

Tuesday, after the excitement of Monday, I was having a leisurely lunch in front of my PC as usual, soaking up on all the gossips of NewPaper Singapore and eating my lunch when I bit into a fishball which has a filling of fish eggs and the fillings flew out of the fishball and onto my keyboard.

Yucks! Now my keyboard smells like fish, is dirty and my lunch is so ruined.
I had to spend a good half and hour cleaning and picking the tiny fish eggs out of the keyboard with the wet tissues.

The good thing that comes out of this messy matter is, now my keyboard is absolutely dust free and clean. Haha....

The guilty fishball that spurted.

My dirty keyboard.

Wednesday was my dancing day. I was running late and I could not find parking. I had to park further away from the dance studio and race through the streets in my dance gear and a jacket.

After the dance class, I felt really giddy and went to bed feeling really cold.

And today, Thursday, I am blogging from the comfort of my home because I fell sick.

I can tell you, 4 drama-filled days out of 5. How much drama can one ask for?
