The Good and the Bad
Let's talk about the Bad first.
I received this notice from AusPost and made my way to the post office to collect my package. I was very excited cos it has been a while since anyone sent me anything.
And lo and behold, you know wat? The counter people say that I have been too late in collecting my package and it is actually on its way back to Singapore. I took a peep at the reference book she was looking at and it was a package from Fern!!!!
At that point in time, I wanted to scold the lady bad words. I just got the notice and it was already final notice already and now I am collecting it, you tell me you sent the package back to Singapore? Wat is the use of you sending it back to Singapore?
Aiyoh! I kicked up a big fuss at the post office and shouted my way through, but my pleas fell on deaf ears. The present that Fern asked me to look out for is going back to Singapore! Alamak.
If anyone who is reading this and is working at AusPost, all I want to say is AusPost sucks! Big time.

Now it's time for the Good.
I craved for Juju and some mean sukiyaki for dinner tonight and Chun kindly provided me with the name of the buffet BBQ restaurant we went the last time at Martin's Place. I called them but they are fully booked.
So I went to research for the restaurant's brothers and sisters and found Rengaya in North Sydney. A reservation is set for 8.30pm and off we go. Rengaya serves a mean feast of wagyu beefs. Ernest has studied about a cut of wagyu before: the Chateaubriand and it is on the menu. The waitress told us that this cut of beef from its tenderloin is not always available and it is today.
We ordered that, as well as the waygu short ribs, some shabu-shabu styled beef loin, ox tongue and a salmon avacado salad to make up for the veg bit.
Sadly, the waitress returned and said while we were comtemplating and ordering food, the Chateaubriand is sold out, so we can only try the next time. We ordered the wagyu Spencer Roll, which is the rib eye cut of the wagyu.
When all the red meat came, we marvelled at the marbling and could not wait to sizzle them up, japanese style. Let the pics tell the story:
And finally we round up the evening by having a nice cup of mocha, latte and a sticky date pudding at Maisy's, the cafe that is highly recommended by church mates and had never visited until today.
