The Story of the Keys

Once a upon a time, when things are simple, there was a handsome young lad called Yue.
So handsome was he, that all female colleagues will faint at the sight of his dazzling smile.
This is the story of his keys.


One fine day, our young lad went to Bunnings to buy some handy-man stuff.
After purchasing, he went happily to his car, dreaming about cooking pork trotters for dinner and planning lovely surprises on his nice colleagues, that he clumsily dropped his car keys into a drain.
OH NO! What should he do?

Ah ha! Being as clever as he is, he opened the cover of the drain, dropped to his waist into the drain and figured he could fish his keys from the dry drain.


He noticed another pair of keys in the drain and laughed quietly to himself. 'What a stupid person! Dropped his keys and he didn't know! I got my keys out easily.'
Brimming with merry mirth, he climbed gracefully out of the drain, cover the top back and drove home.

Upon reaching the carpark entrance, Yue wanted to whip out the car park remote control, do the James Bond move on the car park door, BUT, to his horrors of horrors, his carpark keys was missing.

Then it dawned on him like a shining angel cooing out to him that the keys he saw in the drain (which he laughed sarcastically at) was his own car park keys .

'Shit!' he said, 'shit! shit' There is nothing much he could do now. Bunnings is closed and he could only go back tomorrow morning and see if the keys are still in the drain. Feeling rather stupid, he parked his car on the street that day and did not quite enjoyed the pork trotter that he wanted for dinner.

As soon as the birds sang the song of a new day, Yue drove his car like a handsome stallion quickly to Bunnings. He prayed all the way that the drain will not be filled with water overnight and sweep his keys away.

Well, the gods must be smiling on him. The drain was dry, the keys are still there and he can see them very clearly.

For the second time in his life, Yue dropped to his waist into the drain and fished out his pair of car park keys. Look how happy he is.
