It was 730pm Monday evening on 3 April. Second day of no more daylight saving and the evening looks as dark as night.
After Monday blue, we decided to reward ourselves with a Korean meal. May, in her sudden burst of generousity as a newly self-appointed bummer, declared that she is giving us a treat. Why should we refuse? Off we go to Kingsford, home of what we have decided among ourselves the cheapest and above average Korean restaurant, Gourmet Tofu.
Yes, no need to smirk. The name isn't going to give you images of sumptious simmering Korean cusine, but fear not. The food is really really good. And cheap to boot. Yue says maybe it's because Kingsford is where all poor students stay for UNSW.
And since Shae and Irwin is not here yet, we decide to chomp down the yummy looking Korean starters and cam-whore abit.

Yummy starters! Usual fare like kimchi, marinated breansprouts and some sour and salty veg. Today, we have raw preserved crabs! The red, red colour one. Looks yucky, but taste heavenly.

Lynn is not going to comment to my observation. Concentrate on the starters, she is.
We decided not to wait for Shae and Irwin no longer. We are hungry. Hungry man and women are angry man and women.
Special Korean rice. Sweet with red beans and some unidentifiable lentils. Nice!
Special Seafood HotPot. The simmering Korean stock with seafood makes it the perfect piece de resistance.
Barbeque Pork, Korean style. Hmmmm.............
Tofu Hotpot. Special stock kept warm in the stone bowl and stewed in prawns and lotsa tofu makes it delightful.
After the delicious Korean meal, we went to this Chinese dessert place. Little mum and pop shop with heavy timber table and round barrel chairs makes it a traditional looking Chinese herbal shop. We had delicious Chinese dessert and cam-whore more. Yue got so warmed up that he got Shae to feed him with dessert. Phewweet!
