I am so confused.
Me and Ernest have been praying for a breakthrough in our careers ever since we came back from Brisbane.
Ernest's came in the way of Unilever. We figured if you could get yourself in a global MNC, you probably have chances to fly high and have limitless career advancements.
As for me, I moved from a dead-beat job to another, each earning lesser for the amount of work and effort put in.
We were praying and crying out to God for a breakthrough. God, if it is Your will, let miracles happen!
Yesterday, a miracle did happened. I went for an interview and was offered a job. Not any job, people, but a job in Sydney! I will be sent there, air ticket provided, accomodation provided and I will be richly renumerated. Praise the Lord!
Dilemma arises. Do I put my 6-month old marriage to the test by leaving Ernest alone in Singapore to pursue my career? Is that what God really want for me? to leave my family and friends in Singapore to a foreign land for a job that might affect my emotional spirits by the way of loneliness and racism. What about Ernest? What about church? What about my family?
God, I am so sorry. When nothing happens, we cried out and lamented about the lack of opportunities. We questioned your timing and asked when are the miracles happening.
When You made doors open for me(us), we have so much doubts. We are afraid. We fear the unkown. We even speculate what you are providing might be from satan after all. What am I suppose to do? Do I receive your blessing and pray for wisdom to handle what is going to happen with discretion and guidance from You? Or, as a friend tried to advise, turn this opportunity down because if God wants this for me, He will also provide a way for Ernest to go with me too, so there might be other opportunities in the future as well.
God, I pray for a sign. A divine sign from You that this miracle is indeed from you and I shall accept this with joy and that I will have all the wisdom you are going to bless me to handle all obstacles. Let me know that this is my destiny. If it is Your will, I will go to Sydney.
