I have converted my Australian driving license into a Singapore one. I am waiting for the card to be dropped into the mail for days already and I cannot wait for it to turn up. Oh boy.....my Singapore license after so many years of hardwork and tears....
My colleague has just came back from Los Angeles, USA and he had brought back lotsa chocolates and Disneyland brouchures. Reading those colourful, enticing advertisements made me wanted to go to America badly. I want to do so many things there! Go and see a 'Jerry Springer Show' in Chicago, ski in Alaska, see the Parliament House in Washington, shop in New York, see horses in Texas and sun-tan in California. And not forgetting checking out the nude clubs and casinos in Las Vegas. Why am I not rich enough to do all of these? I should just settle watching American sitcoms on TV and downloading porn online. :P
Talking about spending money, I had an expensive dinner yesterday. I meet up with F, L, M, C and A and we had dinner at Crystal Jade Xiaolong Bao and La Mien Restaurant. Let's see the menu:
1) La Mien
2) 2 longs of xiao long bao
3) jelly fish appetiser
4) Half a rast duck
5) Broccoli with scallop
6) Seabass steamed in black bean sauce
7) Double-boiled chicken soup
I must repent and write a thousand times ' I must not be extravagent on dinners. '
