Drats.....D offered me a chance to go Korea for free, all expenses paid package tour, but the only condition is I have to be a tour coordinator for this group. My job entails duties such as collecting all the passports for check in for the flight, hotel and head counts for every spot along the way. I have to double up as a translator for the Chinese tour leader as well because there is 1 Indian couple in this predominantly Chinese tour group. No salary being a tour coordinator, but I can get up to US$1 per day as tips.

I wanted to go so much. So much so that the only thing to stop me from going is Ernest being able to go in my place. I had wanted to fight with my manager with half-baked stories on free holiday packages offered on a platter for me to winning this holiday in a lucky draw; so that I would be able to take 5 days no-pay leave. In the end, I got screwed by my superiors for having bad working attitude and desiring to go on holidays more than wanting to work (this part I have to agree with him, I do feel this way!) and hope I would reconsider my decision.

Nevertheless, I made the decision of not going. Ho hum.....I got this feeling I will live to regret this decision later in my life (haha...I know I am being dramatic, but hey, I dun feel good giving this free trip up). Sigh....no point whining. Get back to work!
