People people....I guess you have not heard the latest news....I am going to Japan! All expense paid! Japan!
This is the result of me winning a contest organised by 98.7FM and EMI. I have to write in an email describing how far I would do to win this trip to Japan. I wrote in, saying I would dressed up like Damon Albarn and stand on top of a bridge and sing Amazing Grace.
The dj called me and said after rounds of elimination, I have been choosen to go to Japan to catch Blur 'live' in concert! But I have to do out my dare with slight modifications. I have to dressed up like Damon Albarn, come to the studio, stand on the DJ console and sing Blur songs for half and hour.
Which I did! and now I get to go to Japan! Thurs to Sun and coincidentally, this coming thursday, which is my departure date, is actually my birthday! 31 July! I told the EMI people what a treat it was, an all expenses paid trip to see Blur concert on my birthday somemore. It was altogether very exciting indeed.
