Oh oh! How can I miss out my two cent's worth on 'View from the Top'?
Donna Jensen was a girl with high hopes and dreams. Dreading her life with her mum, an ex-Showgirl (she emphasises on the 'EX'), she quitted her supermarket job and signed on as a two-bit air stewardess for a budget airlines. Basically, it is a rags-to-riches stories designed especially for girls who dreamt of glamour in air-stewardessing. The free flights to viva-glam countries like New York and Paris, the branded clothes and the dream apartment has somehow blotted out the hard work air stewardesses have to put in and the not-so-nice behind the scenes experiences that is so painfully missing from the show. I feel it really warp the reality and only present the glamour part of being an air stewardess.
But commenting aside, I really felt that this show only showed that if you are pretty, you can go places. And I made up my mind to lose more weight. Boo hoo....
Can I have more hot nuts?
