I am so sorry if I have not been updating as regularly as I said I would. It seems like there is so much things to do before going back.

Let's start with Friday. On Friday, me, ernest, Ching, Ah P and Guoqiang went to SunnyBank for a sorta last reunion steamboat. We took a bus there and man, the bus was fast....I have no idea taking a bus there would be literally a breeze. Normally, taking a car would mean a 20 min ride as there will be traffic, but the bus ride was like about 10 to 15 mins because the bus was travelling on its on bus highway and lanes.

I have no idea that eating lunch outside al fresco style was pure Sahara Desert style. It was so hot and sweaty that we kept wondering who will be the first to faint of heat stroke among us. After lunch, we went back to West End and played a few rounds of tennis, or rather, trying to play cos we are just swept up by the Australian Open fever and was trying to act like Davenport, Hantuchova, Hewitt and Grosjean, I was the offical ball-girl. Haha. But man, being a ball-girl was not an easy task either. Have to run up and down the court trying to catch all the tennis balls. Plus with all the medicore tennis playing skills, you can say that I have a lot of balls to chase after. After tennis, we went to a nice Thai restaurant and had , IMHO, the nicest stir-fry squid and prawns.

My Saturday was really touristy. Me and Ernest went to Harbour Town in train and buses. It was quite an experience. Nice train views and weird people on the train. Upon reaching Helensvale, we had to take a bus and we were deciding between getting a one-price day pass and just a bus ticket to Harbour Town. TMD the bus driver keeping saying, 'Hurry up! You want the day ticket or not?' We had to make the worse decision. We got the $8 day pass. On the way, we calculated we have to take about 4 bus rides to cover back our $8, so we went to Harbour Town, Pacific Fair, Conrad Jupiters and Surfers Paradise. Must use the ticket until gao gao man!

We spent quite a lovely day in Gold Coast actually, if not for the bus ticket. We had a nice buffet dinner at Conrad Jupiters and had a lovely people watching session at the restaurant as well. We saw some groups of Japanese tourists in kimonos and frankly, we thought that they are just trying to get attention. Imagine an ang moh googling at a pretty young Japanese lady in kimono! Yucks, and she even smile at the lecherous man.
